Lawn mowing in Toledo, OH Cut straight. Left clean.

Mowing, trimming and a blown-off walk, week after week, by a crew that answers the phone.

Mowing for the season

Your yard is the first thing people see from the street.

A good cut looks simple from the sidewalk.

Lines run straight, edges stop where they should, and nothing is left on the concrete.

That is the job, and we do all of it on one visit.

We run a stand-on mower, then trim along the drive, the walk and the beds.

Then the blower clears whatever landed where it should not be.

One customer started with spring trimming and mulch, then hired us to mow for the season.

Call or text and tell us your town and roughly how big the yard is.

Mowing around Toledo

Grass here grows fast, then the weather decides.

Northwest Ohio gets about 35 inches of precipitation in a normal year.

That makes for fast spring growth and soft ground in a wet stretch.

Ohio State University Extension says never take more than a third of the blade at once.

So a wet week can mean a higher cut first and a second pass, not a scalped lawn.

Extension also says to vary mowing direction every one to two mowings.

Toledo, Maumee and Perrysburg all set an 8 inch limit on grass height, so a missed month matters.

Questions

The short answers.

How high do you cut?

It depends on the lawn and the weather.

Ohio State Extension points to 3 inches or higher for a typical home lawn.

Tell us if you have a height you like.

Can I get the stripes?

Yes, stripes are a normal part of how we mow.

Ask about the direction you want, since we change it through the season.

Do I have to be home?

No, as long as we can get in the gates.
