Ottawa Hills, Lucas County
A small village, with a lot of trees.
Ottawa Hills is a small village, about 14 minutes from downtown Toledo.
It was developed from 1915 on, on both sides of the Ottawa River.
Most homes here are lived in by their owners, and many of them are older.
Older lots tend to carry mature trees, and that is where we start.
Mowing under big trees means a higher cut near the trunks and a lot of blowing off.
Beds that have grown in for years want trimming, a clean edge and fresh mulch.
Send a photo and your street by call or text, and we will say what comes first.

What we do here.
Lawn Mowing
Careful cuts on larger lots, with a higher blade and trimming around old trunks.
Landscape Design
New planting and bed changes for older houses with grown-in borders.
Mulch and Beds
Hedges trimmed, edges re-cut and mulch laid at a sensible depth around old shrubs.
Spring and Fall Cleanups
Heavy fall leaf cleanups and a careful spring tidy-up of beds and borders.
Snow Removal
Drives and walks on larger lots, with the cleared area agreed up front.
Around the village
Bancroft Street and the side streets.
We work along the Bancroft Street corridor and the quiet streets near Ottawa Hills Elementary.
The University of Toledo is next door, over the line in the city.
From downtown Toledo, the village is about 14 minutes by Monroe Street and Bancroft Street.
Larger older lots mean more lawn to cut and more edge to hold.
Fall leaves come down heavy under big trees, and they need a real cleanup.
Ask the village office about local grass and snow rules.
We keep the yard on a regular day, so it never gets away from you.
