Where the ash trees went, the yard still needs a plan.
Whitehouse is about 28 minutes from downtown Toledo.
Ohio State reported emerald ash borer confirmed in Whitehouse in February 2003.
Some yards here still show what that left behind, like a stump or an empty corner.
We can mow around a stump and plan the bed that fills the gap.
Ask us about a young tree set in a mulch ring, the way we have planted arborvitae.
Regular mowing, trimming and blow off run on a set day.
Text a photo of the yard, and we will tell you what we would do first.

What we do here.
Lawn Mowing
Straight passes, trimmed edges and a blown off walk on a regular day.
Landscape Design
New beds and young plantings in the spots where an ash tree used to stand.
Mulch and Beds
Fresh mulch kept off the trunks, with a clean cut edge around each bed.
Spring and Fall Cleanups
Spring and fall cleanups, including the sticks and leaves from older trees.
Snow Removal
Winter work here is driveways and walks, with what gets cleared agreed up front.
Knowing the village
Providence Street to the Oak Openings edge.
We work around Providence Street, Whitehouse Square and the streets near Anthony Wayne High School.
Fallen Timbers Middle School is in the village too.
Oak Openings Preserve Metropark is nearby in Swanton Township, not in the village.
Out that way the ground tends to run sandy, and it can dry out faster than clay.
Mulch helps hold moisture, and Ohio State says to keep it to 2 or 3 inches deep.
We also keep mulch off the trunk, since a pile against the bark does the tree no good.
